to insert an IV or to draw blood. His veins could be weak. My mother had that problem so she would have terrible bruises. But the chin and lips look like he fell and hit his face. The bruising has that crushed blood look of hitting a hard surface. And recently as the bruise hasn’t started to get yellow as it heals.

Maybe his lack of soul makes him physically weak as corruption eats away at him.

I wouldn't say he's "healthy" but the bruises don't mean much. He probably took a bit of a spill and the meds he is likely on caused him to bruise up quite drastically. I see it all the time in elderly patients. Don't be surprised if he just heals up over the next two weeks and nothing ever comes of this.
