Pennsylvania mountains. Two of the women that car pooled together got it. One of them was notified through
contact tracing that her hair dresser had COVID-19. She took the test and and tested positive and the women that rode
with her tested negative. Then a couple days later she got sick and tested positive. The one that first tested
positive had no symptoms but is apparently was just a carrier.
We split up in two groups the slower group of five that they were in rode 20 miles. I was with the other 6
that did 45 miles so we had little contact with them. So far they are only two that have it.

(4,673 posts)wore masks during the car pooling? Asking because Im pretty isolated, but on the occasion Im in the car with someone nearly as isolated as I am we nearly always wear a mask. A couple of times we didnt, in order to drink our coffee, but its rather daunting trying to decide what is safe sometimes.
Kudos to you all on you ride! Hope your friends will be okay.

(34,070 posts)No masks in the car on the drive, right?
Drives me nuts - my spouse drives her sister around all the time. No masks. She hangs out with her office-mate. No masks.
Knowing someone well enough to share space with them does not mean they will not infect you!!!
