Thats Pickaway county. It doesnt get much redder and rural.

Back in May they were all about freedom and going mask less. Still are. Bunch of people going to miss election day if they attend.

Maybe no one will show up because theyre watching OSU game ??
Are you guys having a Covid spike there?
Maeve
(42,279 posts)Columbus is red..level 3. But in the city folks wear masks. Here, not so much.

(31,963 posts)It infuriates me that he and his germy goobers are so reckless with the unmasked crowds which put decent people at risk.

(6,110 posts)Earlier, in NC, his rally is during The UNC vs NC State football game.
His rally will be in a county with among the highest Covid spikes already.

(10,154 posts)For trump scarecrows. They ought to have a trump pumpkin carving contest.
Maeve
(42,279 posts)But...covid. Been trying to support the local candy store since they are taking a hit in this their 180th year of business. Great fudge
Oh and it's the Pumpkin Show. Like it's "the" Ohio State University...natives correct others!

(2,220 posts)Used to have friends down there. They had a big shindig at their house every Pumpkin Show weekend. Lived close enough that you could park at their house and walk to the show.
I do miss those days.
Stay safe. And masked.

(42,279 posts)Sorry, but most of the cool folks move away after high school. . Still, there are a lot more Biden signs than you might expect and the sheriff is a Democrat and the third- generation of his family in the position. For the record, they have all had good reputations. My dad was a deputy for the former sheriff so as a kid I knew the current one.
Sometimes good guys win.

(2,220 posts)I think they did all move up here to Columbus eventually. Some very good memories. Gios pizza was a favorite till it got sold.
Love it when the good guys win!

(13,421 posts)I'd seriously consider planning to shelter in place for a while. I'm not talking bread and milk, but if you can avoid being in public, I'd sre think about it.
Stay safe!

Sign your life away for Trump. Unbelievable! Just unbelievable!!!

(366 posts)How does this make any sense, they have closed the main streets in Circleville. And access to downtown will be restricted.
Businesses are weighing staying open for no business or closing tomorrow.
A local bakery, who typically makes 30-40 percent of their annual revenue on the last Saturday of the pumpkin show and has supplies to meet that demand, cannot open tomorrow.
This makes no sense because the fairgrounds are on the other end of the town and can be access easily from the east.

(1,648 posts)Worth a shot to get as close as you can and ask one of his aids or Secret Service team to hold onto it for a few seconds while you take a picture.
Yes, I'm kidding. But that would be funny to pull it off and get in the news for him.

(6,145 posts)Trump went to PA, the positivity rate skyrocketed.
I had planned a trip there in November and now I'll have to quarantine when I get back.
Shit, shit, shit.
All I can say is: quarantine for 14 days, and hopefully it will blow over.
Maeve
(42,279 posts)Gonna hear that shit all over town

(42,279 posts)If you missed it, my mom's apartment is between the rally and the parking for it. Last night they were testing the sound system.
