(36,631 posts)It's pretty amazing how the Creepy Tweeter can control the flatulence from his 2nd anus under his nose to make sounds that are remarkably like words. They don't make sense a lot of times, but they really do resemble word sounds!

(36,631 posts)Where I've been won't be a pleasant subject to change to -- my big dog, my buddy, died July 6. It may sound strange, but I've never had a death hit me so hard. 100 months and 250 pounds of love and hugs. My wife always referred to him as her Baby. I spent 3 months putting together all the photos and videos I had of him and converting to mp4s, just because. Even at 4 seconds per 'slide', it came to over 4 hours. I miss his snoring and the sound his shuffling feet made as he came to bed.

(317,720 posts)and your wife's loss, Hermit.
It doesn't sounds strange at all. Our dogs are such important members of our families.
Sounds like a lucky dog to be in your family and vice versa.

(2,271 posts)But in 5 years here I've never seen one. I've heard stories firsthand, so I believe a lot of weird activity happens here. There are organized ghost hunts now and then, where you have to pay to stay overnight in some building, and people bring expensive equipment, etc. The ghost hunters shows like "Ghost Adventures," etc., have been here 5 times to film episodes here and in nearby Tonopah, Nevada. So you can get a pretty good idea from watching those. Sadly, though, I've never had an encounter myself.

(2,271 posts)stuck on the fences, stuck under trees, etc. We have to free them. I don't mind them too much, except for Russian thistle, which has wicked thorns. We also have wild burros which wander around and chew on my trees. We also have deer which jumped the fence last night and trashed our vegetable garden and ate every pear on the ground.
