GREETings, my lovelies... As you ALL know, HALLOWEEN IS COMING... and NOTHING can stop it. Not a global pandemic, not a perpetually stupid 40% of America, it's coming and you better prepare.
How are all of you Creepers and Creepettes, as well as all of you non-binary Creepy Types doing this fine Halloween Season? This post is to announce that it's time once again, to submit your nominees for the Late H. Lee Atwater Award for Right Wing Evil! It's the FOURTEENTH year of this proud DU tradition. I'm sure that you can't wait to vote for your favorite evilest of winger or wingers.
As is tradition, the award thread will be posted on Halloween Eve, also know as DEVIL'S NIGHT, right here in GD. I'm sure that some of you are chomping at the bit to SUBMIT the names of your favorite right wing asshole or assholes. Especially since there are so many to choose from. In the years where we've had an abundance of names that were too big for one poll, we had a play-off round poll and a championship round poll to pick the overall winner.
I'd love to see that happen this year as well...
Also, we'll be declaring the recipient of the Seventh Annual Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney Lifetime Achievement Award for Right Wing Evil. Past recipients consisted of Bruce "Dick" Cheney, "Pig Boy" Rush Limbaugh, Karl "Svengali" Rove, Bill "Rapey" O'Reilly, Steve "America's Most Racist Congressman" King and Addison Mitchell "Moscow Yertle" McConnell.
This year's recipient is none other than "Leningrad" Lindsey Graham, who just happens to be the winner of last year's Award for Right Wing Evil. So, make sure to submit your seconds and thirds, so that he gets the Golden Dick, if you'd like.
Now dig in deep, dearies, light a candle and get your nominations on, because it's that time of year that we all love...
