I used the CNN number. It's probably more than 100,000.

According to Worldometer, Texas alone had 6,483 new cases yesterday. I don't recall seeing numbers like this before, except in NY during their worst spike.

an enormous number of businesses have to shut due to lack of help.

The welfare of business is the only language they understand. If businesses are sick, they will provide help but not for humans. That's how McConnell has operated during his whole time in office.

to keep them closed or operating partially. We should have given the money to schools for teachers and to operate safely. No, we gave the money to Wall Street, to the 1%. This pandemic is working exactly how Wall Street wants it to work, the income inequality gap is growing.

Remember now the Spanish flu was the worst virus ever, 50 million dead, 675,000 dead in America, how soon before Trump breaks that 675,000 dead Americans record?

By the way the Spanish flu did not originate in Spain, the 1st known case was at a military base in Kansas.

as well as asset and resource ownership inequality. I don't quite know how we will ever reverse that trend. We seem to be headed toward everything in human life being on a rental basis.

If we did the things you said and gave workers enough to exist on, we could be well on our way to a recovery. Now, we're heading for another peak and a dreaded winter surge.

I thought he had one chance to fall on his sword and say I underestimated how bad this would get. I don't know if it would have helped him but it would have been the honorable thing to do.

I know, he is not honorable. He is a psychopath. And he continues to demonstrate that time and time again.

What his loyal base doesn't know is this: they will be supporting him in one way, shape or form for the rest of his life. They all better get second jobs.

I think in the years to come we are going to find out that certain people took heroic steps behind the scenes to keep him from completely destroying the country.

I hope Biden doesn't stymie investigations into the Trump Administration. It all needs to be laid out for everyone to see. I don't care how fucking ugly the truth ends up being.

we did not have 82,000 infected in one day, we had 82,000 covid postive tests RESULTS reported in one day. Agian the TRUE metric of the pandemic is what is happening with hospitalizations and they are exploding AND that is number we need to see EVERY DAY from covid beds to ICU and ventilator covid hookups
