THE AWFUL TRUTH: tRump's worse than we feared

When Donald Trump kicked off his presidential bid in 2015, he rode down a golden escalator in Trump Tower, using the media attention to promote his own brand and property. He lied. He made racist comments. And he exaggerated the crowd size.

In other words, he showed exactly the type of president he would become.

The rest of his campaign was no different. He continued to stoke racial tensions, bully and demean.

Unable to believe that he could truly be as bad as he presented himself, some Democrats thought maybe Trump would change once in office. Maybe there would be a way to work with him. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said there were areas where Trump “voiced very progressive and populist opinions,” and perhaps those would be areas of cooperation.

4. What? Trump was just publicly saying what Republicans believe.

The news media and even some Democratic politicians believe that Donald Trump is not a Republicans and the Grand Ole Party is not Trump. He is exactly what they have always wanted. They are proud he is putting anti-abortion judges on the courts. Ecstatic that he is making American white again. They are evil. Stop trying to whitewash them. They are whitewashed enough.

Viewed most coldly, the cheap thug is not the problem. He is merely the boil thrown up by the underlying disease --- the proud ignorance and spite of white people who vote for him, because he says out loud just what they bray to one another in the break room and around the kitchen table.

every single judge, every single EO, every horrific policy put in place, all done with not only the approval of the GOP, but often the insistence. The idea that they can weasel out of their ownership of Trump, pisses me off.

5. Sure appeared the Rethugs

pulled out all the stops in 2016 in order to capture the White House. Now four years later we see what their true skinny was. All about preventing a Person of Color ever running for President again,number one. All about creating a economic climate that destroys the Middle Class and wealth transfer to the Oligarch Class. All about working the Religious Nut Fringe in order make the latter happen. All about destroying Entitlement Programs of FDR as well as Obama to set examples.

Koch Industries as well as a couple mega wealthy Tech People made it happen.

8. With his reputation, I was shocked the GOP establishment allowed his nomination.....

but that's how far the Party has fallen into total corruption.

After he was elected, I also was naive enough to think they would have reasonable people to keep him in check.

But noooooooo......

To match his narcissistic psychopathic personality, he installed people just as bad as him in every cabinet position and staff position in the West Wing.
