The line to vote in Buffalo NY is very long.

I just talked to two people who have lived in Buffalo for 30 years. They tried to vote this morning but the line was very long so they are going to try again later today. They said that they had never seen a line like that before. They are both voting Biden and one of them is a registered republican.

1. I am debating if I will have a shorter line if I vote on election day

But it might mean I am stuck with more COVIDiots since my district is republican leaning.

For doing your part to save your country.

I consider people storming the polling places to vote as American as storming the beaches on DDay.

Both doing their part to save the nation.

3. Thank you for the reminder. There is ZERO chance I am not voting this election.

I am young and in a low risk category. When I go outside of my home, I wear mask and gloves. And I dodge to keep the distance when I see people coming my way. I assume everyone has COVID when I go outside so proper distance is needed at all time except when I can't like getting a haircut. I went to cut my hair and I came home COVID free. I remember the salon worker point to bottle of disinfectant and I showed them my hands with gloves.

I am probably going to take a look at the lines in the early voting place on a week day to see how long the line is. It's just a few blocks from my house anyways.

4. Not sure how effective the gloves are, i think they're a false sense of security.

6. Same thing applies, you can't touch your face with your gloves.

When you take off your gloves, make sure you aren't touching the outside surface of the gloves. I take it off so the inside is out so I don't touch the outside. Then I wash my hands before touching anything. It is used to protect my hands in case I have any cuts on my hands and a constant reminder that I shouldn't touch anything outside.

I'm glad I got there 15 minutes before the opening, but still had to wait 1 hour + 15 minutes before I cast my ballot. When I left, the line was about 4x as long.

It's a chilly day here, and some folks didn't dress warmly enough, but they stayed in line, and were mostly cheerful. The poll workers were awesome.

My friend waited in line 1 ½ hrs by Marketplace Mall voting center and when he left, said there were 300 people waiting in line behind him.

On my way to Costco I saw a steady stream of cars going into the MCC location,

It was wonderful to see the diversity in line: young, older, old; black, brown, white. And people chatted with the strangers ahead of and behind them, finding things to laugh about. It was really great.

10. Western New Yorkers- If you live in New York's 27th District, please vote for Nate McMurray.

This is Carl Paladino and imprisoned republican felon Chris Collins country. McMurray's had an uphill battle, but he's in it to win it with a wonderful grass roots ground game, and he needs every vote.
