The Lincoln Project billboard dispute with Ivanka/Jared may be a fun legal soap opera

This is becoming a fun legal soap opera. I had fun following the Texas voter suppression/voterid case a while back and then had a blast following the trial of the Kansas proof of citizenship to register to vote case where Kris Kobach tried the case himself and was ordered by the judge to take a remdial course in trial procedure. Please understand that the trump campaign is broke which is why trump has the DOJ attempting to (i) defend trump's rape/defamation case on the theory that defaming rape victims is in the scope of trump's duties and (ii) sue Melania's former best friend concerning her book about the inauguration and other fun stuff. If the trump campaign still had any money, it would be defending or pursing these lawsuits

No competent attorney would send a two paragraph demand letter and expect to be taken seriously. The Lincoln Project has responded with a well written letter from a competent attorney

The footnotes in this letter are longer than the entire cease and desist letter from Kasowitz. On top of this, it seems that Jared sent Rick Wilson a nasty email that Wilson has posted on twitter

This soap opera will likely go away if/When trump loses but right now, I am enjoying this soap opera I had a great deal of fun in my prior soap operas including haveing the 5th Circuit rule against the Texas voter suppression/voter id law and watching Kris Kobach exposed as being an idiot with the court having fun expliaing why the expert witnessses called by Kobach were idiots

19. I am not sure that Jared/Ivanka would dared file a lawsuit.

This letter was a feeble attempt to bluff the Lincoln Project but it was a weak attempt. Kaswotize letter was on only two paragraphs and the footnotes in the Lincoln Project response were longer that the demand letter. If a lawsuit is filed, then Jared and Ivanka will deposed and those depos would be amusing.
