1. Donald Trump, his key backer Peter Thiel, and Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House Covid coordinator are directly linked to nationwide under-reporting of Covid-19 cases and deaths. We learned this morning the data was flawed.

2. The under-reporting of COVID-19 cases and deaths follow a decision by Dr. Deborah Birx to privatize COVID-19 data collection from the CDC to a Pittsburgh company that uses a platform built by Peter Thiel's Palantir. Thiel is close to Trump.

3. Birx decided to jettison the existing CDC reporting system for COVID-19 which had been developed over 15 years, and replaced it with a platform operated by a Pittsburgh-based private company, TeleTracking.

4. And now we're learning that Peter Thiel's data company Palantir developed TeleTracking's platform. Thiel holds a substantial stake in Facebook, backed Trump's 2016 campaign and is close to Erik Prince.
