He's been quiet and hidden. I suspect he will hold a presser sometime late this week to announce an investigation into the Bidens, or, just Hunter. The claims will be bogus, but it could be damaging just because of all of the coverage. tRump planted the seeds in the debates.

I wonder if Barr sees the writing on the wall for Trump and is doing nothing. Had things been closer like in 2016, there is room for this type of deception. But maybe this one is a little out of reach.

And Barr would like to still work in DC after this is over.

I think he is keeping a low profile intentionally and probably planning what he's going to do after Trump is defeated. Also Trumps isn't too happy with him right now, another reason to keep a low profile.

That we would have a live primetime arrest where both would be paraded through a mob of hecklers to be taken into custody.

This would be followed by Trump making remarks about the two biggest criminals in American history being brought to justice.

The reality is Barr is willing to do certain things. But he's not going to completely ruin his reputation for Trump.

Barr went above and beyond for Trump so many times, that Trump probably believed he could get him to do anything. Too many people around Trump are starting to see the writing on the wall and are probably trying to minimize any damage to themselves.

There was a special prosecutor investigating the Bidens. When Trump found out it wasn’t going to be done before the election he stomped his feet and threw a fit. Then the prosecutor suddenly closed the case with no result and Trump disowned Barr.

He knows Trump is going to lose, and that he is in a lot of trouble if that happens. He's not doing anything now that will make his situation worse.

The more he is invisible and attacked by Trump, the more I think they are planning a last minute Hunter freak-out similar to the Hillary email shocker. Someone from Justice calls a press conference full of innuendo about Biden that no one can check or really understand completely. But it sounds scandalous.

Comey was the Obama Administration Attorney General, and was not regarded as partisan. So his announcement right before election day, essentially incriminating the Democratic nominee, was devastating. Hillary Clinton already had a significant unfavorable rating, thanks to the decades-long Republican smear campaign against her. This tipped some voters over the edge to sit out the election, vote third party, leave the choice for President blank, or actually vote for Trump.

Comey's name will live in infamy. And his weak excuses for putting his thumb on the scale for Trump have done nothing to rehabilitate his reputation. He played a huge role in ushering in this sorry interlude.

We're in a totally different environment now. Barr is in no position to repeat the Comey October Surprise.

"Barr traveled to Indianapolis on Thursday to meet with local law enforcement officials, including Southern Indiana U.S. Attorney Josh Minkler and Indianapolis Police Chief Randal Taylor, among other local law enforcement stakeholders. The group was scheduled for a working lunch to discuss crime in Indianapolis, and the AG held a brief press conference prior to discuss how Operation Legend has been used in the Circle City."

Trump has pinned all his hopes for reelection on attacking Hunter Biden. So far none of it has worked nor will it ever work...and the investigation Trump is demanding will be seen by the American people as the king of desperation moves.

So...to get away from Trump calling him every five minutes demanding that he throw Joe Biden in prison, he's gone on the road.
