The true confederate battle flag has a cross star design with I believe a white or blue border all around it. It is similar to the one racists wave around, but is square instead of rectangle and it has the border all around it.

I figured that the pure white flag, with no design, was meant to signify a flag of surrender in the tweet. I just wanted to answer that question a person seemed to have had, at least as much as I remembered from reading about the confederate battle flag.

10. More proof of how incompetent this entire administration has been in handling this crisis. Actually

two emergencies in total, the first one is the CV itself of course, and the second one is the utter failure of this administration in dealing w/ the first crisis. How incompetent can one be, when we have the best doctors, the best hospitals, the best health care in the entire world, and yet here we are, w/ over 200K+ deaths (some say vastly understated/underestimated), and still haven't turned the corner and are expecting yet a brutal Fall 2020 due to the still raging CV epidemic.

These nails of sheer incompetence should be hammered into the coffins of every single republican who aided and abetted the dismal failure of the so called PINO. Charges should be leveled at each and every one of these thugs by who lack of action caused even the death of one person, let alone all of the hundreds of thousands thus far caused (deaths).

11. Just had a truly awful thought but then realized the worst possibility was probably the correct one.

The pandemic and it's proportional death toll is impacting minority communities, Democratic voters, more than the general population. Surely this observation was passed around at the WH. Given all the other myriad dirty tricks the GOP uses to purge the voter rolls, who could guarantee that the WH has not deemed virus deaths a convenient voter manipulation tool? Trumps reptile logic would latch right onto the math. It's really the only thing about the WH response to the pandemic that follows a consistent path.

It explains why even basic efforts to minimize the damage were thrown off trajectory by the machinations of foolishness emanating from the WH. How from the beginning, back in February, even the simple concept of mask wearing was turned into a pointless pissing contest. How the undermining of the WHO and the CDC, the ceaseless blaming of China, took priority over efforts to message essential actions people could take to keep themselves and their neighbors safe.

At every turn Trump has intentionally turned the conversation away from facts and into a circus of confusion and misinformation. An approach that could only benefit proponents of the virus' victory. A concept too crazy to take seriously. Right? Except it's NOT. The only thing is: the WH's white flag is not for surrender. It just signals that they think they have only one more lap until the checkered flag on Nov 4.

He's already seen more killed than he won by in 2016 and it didn't cost his campaign a dime. Like so much of Trump's life, it is perverse. That's his ultimate tell.

By the way, I really don't like Donald Trump, the serial rapist, mass murderer and election cheater, at all.
