https://www.google.com/search?&q=covid-19+cases+in+U.S.On the downside, displaying the perfectly innocent and truthful message that daily new cases are higher than they've ever been before might prompt some voters to turn around and go back home, which would oppose the consensus among Democrats that everyone should be encouraged to vote.
On the upside, the message would no doubt save lives if displayed to people waiting to vote. Signs could warn everyone to wear masks and practice social distancing because the COVID-19 virus is currently spreading faster than ever before.
As a bonus, of course, it would inform everyone that Trump's claim that we're "rounding the corner" is an outright LIE! As long as the signs display no overt political preference the Republicans would be damned if they complain about and try to suppress them and damned if they don't.
Is this a good idea? Should folks across the country show up at polling places with these politically neutral warning signs?
Maybe a not-blue and not-red color would be best. Perhaps something like this:

language being displayed in the voting places, etc. tons of information already out there regarding the ballots, that voters are already swamped w/ all kinds of information. I gave it quite a bit of thought, but you didn't obviously.

I think that signs at polling places emphasizing the truth would be justified and also helpful to Joe Biden's campaign, but you say they're "not needed."
Not needed to save more lives? Not needed to win the election? Not needed for what?

a lot of places, you wouldn't be able these things. But you are in a different world I guess.
