being presented is somewhat tainted, one doesn't necessarily trust the content of the Hill. I'd prefer to go into an area such as SW Missouri (a republican stronghold) and read the local papers down there (I came from down there, thus I'm aware of the local newspapers and such, and read the news in these publications).

The Hill gets mediocre ratings for facts, other than their opinions pieces, which are not well substantiated.

However:

The Hill is published by Capitol Hill Publishing, which is owned by News Communications, Inc. Jimmy Finkelstein is the current CEO of New Communications who is described as a “Republican and longtime friend who served as a fundraiser for Giuliani’s failed 2008 presidential run.” The paper and website are funded through a subscription and advertising model.

So that might explain why the Hill could be questionable source.
