October 15 was the first day of Early Voting in NC. After the sites closed on Saturday, October 24, here are the updated totals:
Mail-in ballots received: 771,770
Early voting (10 days): 2,328,603
Total: 3,100,373
Party breakdown of those who have voted:
Democratic: 1,255,998
Republican: 929,502
Unaffiliated: 901,767
Libertarian: 10,903
Green: 1,108
Constitution: 1,095
42.4% of registered voters have already voted! Lookin good!

childhood (am native NC) who has never voted for a democrat in his life to my knowledge, who is not registered Republican. I looked up old friends out of curiosity recently and found a lot of unaffiliated like him.
There are actually more unaffiliated voters in NC than there are registered Republicans.
