I avoided looking a Pence and noticed that the folks are wearing winter gear, including parkas and hats with ear flaps. Brrr. We have about 5-7 weeks before we get that cold here in NYC.

I'm about 100 miles south of Denver, on the Front Range. The snow was very welcome in Colorado, especially where the fires are.

You still might get some 60 and 70 degree days before March 1, 2021 if my understanding of Colorado's weather is correct.
Poor Minnesotans may not see a day over 50 degrees until March.

It's supposedly 16 degrees now, and is supposed to be 66 on Saturday. I just got in from finishing the shoveling that I started early this morning and it felt a lot warmer than 16 degrees.

Adding: I remember my kids having snowball fights without jackets plenty of times.
