What did you do tonight to ease the pain?

I ate, drank and watched “On the Basis of Sex,” about RBG.

I didn’t turn on the news once. Could not bear it.

It didn’t rain the whole two hours but it was lovely. I’m pretty tired. My body feels good. My heart is in two. My brain is pretty mad and ready for a fight.

And I relaxed on the sofa, covered in boys. One of them was my husband. The rest were fuzzy four-legged munchkins that I suspect may have been there only to talk me into some extra cans of wet food.

Not in a good place. Half bag of Kit Kat’s gone. At least I did not get into the milieu ways, that would have been the whole bag. Been working to get some weight off. Lost 22 pounds in covid times. Will put a few on in the next few. Anxiety eating not only Ofer the court pick but the election in general.

I came to the conclusion a few weeks back that everything had changed, Republicans were going to ram through this nomination regardless, and then we will win the presidency, the Senate, and the House and it will be all up to *US* how to exact our revenge. In fact, Republicans showing their ass like they have been only makes it MORE likely that we will get our pound of flesh and then some.

He who laughs last laughs best.

I know..I know..not supposed to mix the two but F*ck it. My Xanax prescription is 6 pills per month, 0.25 mg, so not exactly an addict, lol. I have GAD so you can imagine what these last few months have been like. So f*ck it, bring out the Chardonnay and Xanax! Then tomorrow onto the battle.

Been watching movies and stuff on comet. Watched Kimmel.

Depression has been creeping up tonight.

Been on DU too.

I wish we could deport every republican and supporter of republicans out of our country. Life would be better if they were all gone and cannot ever come back here.

Why must we tolerate thier fascism? Thier sociopathy? Thier stupid followers?

Fuck the republicans and what they want.

Get rid of those monsters. Make them leave.

about a female Australian aboriginal band who performed in Viet Nam during the American war there. Based on true story.

So, escaped.

Worked a lot today. Working to ignore the news. No news all day except snatches online.

Lotta pain tonight.
