Barrett's confirmation BACKFIRES: from DLCC

'Just a few hours ago, Senate Republicans voted to CONFIRM Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

But as Barrett's new colleague Brett Kavanaugh told Senate Democrats almost exactly two years ago, "what goes around comes around" – and it's coming around on Trump and the Republicans sooner than anyone imagined.

Here's what's happening right now, Ellen – from the moment the Senate vote finished, donations started POURING IN to support Democratic state legislators and knock Trump's allies from power all over the country.

Every single one of those gifts is being put to work immediately to help take down Trump's closest allies in the states and make sure Republicans PAY at the ballot box for what they've just done.

Even better, we've gotten word from a coalition of progressive donors that each of these gifts will also be matched, giving each dollar FIVE TIMES the impact until our final end-of-month deadline!

Just a few days ago, President Obama told us "we can't be complacent... Not in this election. Not this time."

With a partisan Republican majority now on the Supreme Court, that has never been more true. Victory is no longer possible for Democrats: It is essential.

And with just a few days left until these elections are over, we need to rally now if state Democrats all across the country are going to win on November 3rd.

Pitch in now to elect state Democrats. All gifts will have FIVE TIMES the impact until the deadline >>

Thanks,
DLCC Team

Especially in states that make voting early easy. Don't wait until election day.

The campaigns are awash with money, the airwaves saturated with ads, and there are very few undecided voters. At some point, this cash arms race has diminishing returns. I'd like to see some explanation of how more money will make a difference at this point. It's up to people now.

My next donations are to the ACLU for coming legal battles. The next battleground will be in the courts, protecting democracy.

Not exactly "backfiring"...particularly if the SCOTUS majority, as now seems likely, intervenes in the election to give Republicans a win, making all our donations just money down the drain.

Strongly held democratic states aren’t plagued with suits like the one in Wi. TX is an example, if the state had a strong dem holding there wouldn’t be only one ballot drop box per county and a dem gov wouldn’t be suing to make it so

Vote. Every. Republican. Out. Of. Office.
None of them deserves re-election.
All of them are guilty of subverting democracy.
NOTHING will ever get better in the U.S. until the GOP* is gone!
