I've heard/read from several different sources that they've been getting steadily smaller until recently I began hearing they were actually getting larder from Non-Fox/Non-WH sources including Andrea Mitchell at one point (!?).
That was disturbing to say the least.
What's the real deal about them if its been lain out anywhere?

(15,622 posts)I don't know why you think he couldn't scrounge up a few thousand of them to attend a rally.

(24,585 posts)Even a small political party with a highly ideologized core can mobilize big crowds. There are a lot of people in this country.

(34,873 posts)Many of these loons follow him from rally to rally. He also gets a lot of cultists who drive in from neighboring states. His rallies in Nevada were like that. A fat chunk of the crowds drove in from California and Arizona. They might be bigger, but they're having to draw from a much, much wider population.

(12,796 posts)Like, a Trump supporter was paying to bus folks in and paying them to "participate"?

(1,261 posts)I did read some accusations awhile back that there were plants in the audience that stir things up, start chants, etc, like undercover hypemen.

tours the valley. That worries me because I do know some people that have turned for Trump. I worry that many of those new
voters may be Trump supporters.

(17,432 posts)Trump rally from a distance. I think the report was related to crowds with neither masks nor distancing on Deadline:WH. Anyway, Wallace or one of the pundits said the crowd was tightly packed to make it look bigger on close up shots. You could easily see all the open space on either side and behind the stage. It was a decent crowd, but closer to hundreds than thousands.

(17,432 posts)I did a little volunteering for Kerry/Edwards in Philly. That was also Sen Casey's first campaign for Senate (vs Santorum). Anyway, Casey was going to be interviewed on one of the news channels, so about 10-12 of us were asked to stand directly behind Casey, hold signs, make noise and make it seem like we were scores more supporters than our actual numbers since the camera shot wouldn't show all the open space behind and around us.
