Seems like 49% of registered Republicans have voted. However unaffiliated voters - 42% of those have voted.

It's IMO all about turning out the Democrats and hoping the unaffiliated break our way.

North Carolina has more unaffiliated voters than those who are registered Republican. A lot of young voters (Generation Z) will not register with either party.

In most states (including my state of Pennsylvania) you'll find that there are more people who are undeclared for either party, than there are registered as party members.

Among those unaffiliated, there are also a good number who don't bother to vote in normal times. But 2020 isn't normal and a lot of those people are taking the time to vote this year. What's bringing them out? I'll bet dollars to donuts, it's not because they love Chump.

of people who have already voted, Biden is winning 8% of Republicans and 56% of independents in NC. If those numbers are accurate, Biden has about a 1 million vote lead so far in early voting.
