Now Trump and his defenders can claim he meant "shot" as in an old car, but we all know what his people are hearing when he uses that, as Frank would call it, "loaded term".

As Frank famously says, "It's not what you say that counts, it's what people hear".

That is why Right Wing speeches are full of key words meant to race past the intellect and land in the emotional gut.

He's just a sociopathic idiot. By themselves they don't do that much harm. It is the millions of Americans who follow him and the thousands who enable him that are the problem.

If this jack ass were just left to his failed empire, the world would have been okay. But a few thousand greedy bastards propped him up so that the 44% that represent the stupidest people in the country would vote for him. Then the bastards maliciously used our constitution to subvert the very things it was supposed to protect.

The kochs and their ilk have brought America low. Abetted by knuckle dragging morons with no sense of truth.

Yeah, there are idiots who voted for him. He LIED to them. Could they have bothered to look deeper? Yeah. But, HE is responsible for all the destruction of our political system. Our system requires a significant amount of following orders from the President. We gave that power to the position, and that is why we can't just up and hit him upside the head and haul him off.

Let me make this clear, because you apparently missed my memo: TRUMP IS MY ENEMY. Not the fools who voted for him, but Trump and the GOP. They have got to go.

It would help if you did.

I never absolved trump of anything. You say trump is the problem. The world is full of trumps. Lying, sociopathic assholes who are stupid as hell. The only bother those who chose to be with them. The problem is when people that you don't know (read about trump's money supporters) and the gullible idiots who work from places of hate and greed elevate them to positions of power.

You endow trump with way too much intelligence and cunning. He is an idiot. Republicans have offered up puppet idiots to president beginning with reagan.

If you give the people who are truly responsible for the travesty that has been foisted on America a pass, you are simply short sighted. If trump is all you want gone then you don't understand what is going on. This is not the work of one man, no matter how super intelligent and cunning you think he is. Once trump is no longer the president, the problems that have come from the idiots coming to power will still be there. There will be another trump, possibly one more clever and socially acceptable than this one. Then another and then another.

You say the at the people who voted for trump are not your enemy, but then you say that the GOP must go. Who do you think the GOP is? It is the people who voted for trump. I am part of the Democratic Party. They are part of the GOP.

Look. I know trump can make people blindingly, raging crazy. But don't take you eyes off the fact that to vote for trump twice means that you are stupid, racist, misogynist, selfish, mean, homophobic, xenophobic. Pick all that apply. My enemy are those people. Their votes are what got us here. They need a candidate that meets all those criteria. Once trump is gone, they will just get another. Think past next Tuesday.

"Even if people voted for him, he wouldn't do any harm if the rich assholes who buy republican senators by the dozen didn't enable him, if the foreign tycoons that run faux news actually had any morals or guiding principles other than get rich."

This is a ludicrous statement. "He wouldn't do any harm if..." Do you think that the office of the Presidency is dependent on the okay of rich assholes? Well, of course YOU do, but in and of itself, it carries enough power for him to start a nuclear war, without any permission needed from anyone.

You started off by saying that Trump is not the problem. He IS the problem. We have a country that had the pus start oozing out of the woodwork; granted, we have much to fix in terms of attitudes toward those marginalized citizens. But, getting rid of Trump is paramount to fixing anything else that needs fixing.

If he wins, you can kiss the country goodbye. Life as we know it, or knew it, is OVER. Then, you can say, well, I hate those that voted for him (we will never know the truth of that,) but I guarantee that most everyone, except for you, will see the problem as being a narcissistic dictator wannabe who LED these people toward their doom. They are too stupid to visualize life under a dictator. They are too stupid to realize that he threw them under the covid bus. They are looking for a daddy, and it doesn't matter to them whether he is lying to them as long as they hear what they want to hear, and not the truth.

Trump is NOT too stupid to go after what he wants. He is evil and vicious, but he is doing everything he can to pursue his dream of a ruling family. It is a mistake to underestimate him and his.

You and I will never see eye to eye. I see Trump and the GOP PARTY as the enemy; you see your stupid, needy neighbor as the enemy. So be it. As ever, humans keep making the same mistakes over and over and over again.

One mistake made was electing Trump as pRes, although he had foreign help and help from rich bastards with evil intent. We will fix this mistake on Tuesday.

You want to accuse a fellow Democrat of seeing the needy as the enemy. That is absolutely despicable. Your post is an example of the worst kind of republican game playing. All you want to do is win an argument that you fomented over a bit of word play. That kind of sophistry (have someone look it up for you) is exactly the kind of thing the republicans are doing in ads against Democrats on every channel. It is disgusting. I can only hope that the hatred filling you against one stupid man has blinded you to the ability to have a decent civilized discussion.

Go ahead and hate. Just wallow in the simplistic joy of not having to analyze or think.

Then wake up on Wednesday to the drawing knowledge that ridding the White House of the fat orange buffoon is not going to make everything okay. All those stupid jack asses who voted for trump and all those corporate thugs will just pick another puppet and continue hating. They will not suddenly have the scales of bigotry and greed drop from their eyes when trump goes to jail. They will not suddenly love you for being so kind and understanding of their ignorance. We will vote trump out, but the ignorance, greed, and hate is still there. Ignorance, greed, and hate gave us trump. They will give us another at least as bad. Ignorance, greed, and hate are my enemies. You may think that once trump is defeated, you will have no more enemies.

Very shallow.

It's pointless to talk to you; you attacked me first. And, it's not like I needed to answer you in the first place.

Insults don't go well with me. Your opinion is now overlooked. End of discussion. I have better things to do than satisfy your desire to fight.

before you post. Ah well.

I didn't attack you. I had my say about the state of the electorate (which this night is proving out) and you leapt to attack someone who didn't fall into your righteous rant.

I retract my thoughts about your not being able to reason in your state of rage. You can't refute any of my contentions without misquoting and purposeful misunderstanding, so you wisely bow out. Very rational given that the results coming in right now on election night prove my point.

What?

As Michael Cohen said, he speaks in code. Who calls anybody "Watermelon Head"?

If it was "code", what was he trying to say?

He knows that snipers and gun lovers like to shoot watermelons to watch them explode? They use them as a "headshot".

Was he trying to communicate with some sick-minded individual? Who knows?

His crazed ass must be stopped. You know that someone of the boogaloo types or white supremacists are going to try to follow through...EXCEPT they would be doing this before the election so as to prevent Kamala from being President. This is so outrageous how can the media or our Intel stand by without doing something. Nancy should convene a special session to censure this bastard.

I thought the bottom had been reached so many times over the last few years, yet the depravity continues and, almost impossibly, gets deeper and broader.

This is a completely disoriented world. How one man can overcome the counterweight of the entirety of civilization and society is totally beyond me.

See my reply 36 above, and my reply 93 in that subthread. I haven't been able to find a screen shot yet, or video, but did find tweets from people including Trump supporters tweeting about Trump doing this at times, gesturing to indicate someone being shot in the head while he says Biden is "shot," since last summer. I didn't see it till recently.

Keep in mind that Trump is well aware that people have already threatened to kill Biden.

And keep in mind that he knows exactly how gun-crazy, and just plain crazy, many of his supporters are.

FWIW, I've never seen anyone else hold a finger gun to their head when saying someone or something is "shot" when all they mean is worn out, etc.
