Blue Wave

If this year is a blue wave, and I sure hope it is, should we be seeing signs of it already? I know the polling has been encouraging, but we have a lot of votes already cast. Is it too early to know yet?

But there are several threads here almost daily giving the vote totals by party affiliation.

Most of those that do say that more Dems have early/mail voted than Repubs.

Hopeful thing to remember is that when turnout is high, it tends to favor Dems. That has been true for quite a few cycles. Case in point: 2018 had some record turnout in many areas and there was the first part of the blue wave we all hope is continuing now.

Early voting.

But ...he also has pretty much said he is very sure that Biden will win. He’s fairly conservative in those kinds of calls, more so than other pollsters, so was happy to have read that!

7. That is based on history in which fewer votes were cast early than were cast on election day.

This year may flip that.

But it sure looks good. Knowing the kind of ratfuckery trump and his GOPricks are capable of, I won't rest easy until Biden is the certified president-elect and is sworn in. Only then can we begin to get back to normal.

...is to make sure that every blue vote is cast in a way that ensures no court will be able to invalidate it.
