God has told this man that Trump will win. (Should we be nervous?)

And then earth will be hit by an asteroid five years later
Oh, and God told him there would be two assassination attempts on Trump.
That man is Pat Robertson
If I were trump and I win, I'd be looking over my shoulder at what his followers were up to
Now lest you doubt that he (Pat) has a direct line to God, just a few of the many things God has told him over the years

In '82 (or '83), he predicted that the Soviet Union would invade Israel which would usher in the second coming
I remember it well. The USSR invaded, Jesus appeared, the war ended and Jesus spent the rest of the year playing beach volleyball
Then he left
It was kind of a disappointing second coming. I also thought Christ would go pro

In 1984, Robertson predicted that the End Times was five years away and that Christians would control all forms of communication
Christians would reign with Jesus
Yep. Christians control Twitter, the movie studios and the radio
That's why Kirk Cameron is able to make so many amazing movies

He predicted that in 1996, Sen Jay Rockefeller would be elected president
Ahhhhhh... the Rockefeller Years.
Everyone in America remembers where they were when the election was called for Senator Jay, as he was called throughout his campaign
Good times

In 2006, he predicted a tsunami would strike the U.S. coastline
It was Steve Doocey who explained how his prediction was correct
From Fox and Fiends
"Well, you know what, [Robertson] did predict a tsunami, although if you remember, there was a — let’s see, a couple of months ago, we did have an earthquake in the Hawaiian island chain, and do you remember the fact there were tsunami warnings in the Northeast and there wound up being a six-inch wave …”
Six INCH wave. Not centimeter, not millimeter... INCHES
Take that doubters. Steve Doocey put you in your place

2007, a terrorist attack on the United States. Didn't hear about it?
Not surprised, because Pat explained why it didn't happen
"All I can think is that somehow the people of God prayed and God in his mercy spared us.”
See. Simple. Prayed. God decided not to let us to get killed by terrorists with nuclear weapons, or whatever

In 2012, God told him the Romney would win the White House and serve two terms.
I am certain that in 2024 Romney will run again and get his 2nd term

In 2014, he predicted an asteroid would strike the earth

I am curious, at what point does false prophet take hold
or... is he a Profit of God (Profiting from God?)

read in the Bible that "No one knows the hour" and then decide that they know the hour.

But, these crazies are deliberately trying to bring on the end-of-times.

Like they can FORCE their God to do what they want.

Very scary.

They think they can start a war, call it Armageddon, and force Jesus to return.
They think they tell God what miracles to perform when, as in "God will protect our super-spreader megachurch (and its collection plate) from Covid."
And it goes on and on.

Sure, there are groups in the rest of the World who hold the same beliefs, but, nowhere else do they have the power and influence they hold here in the US.

I studied it for awhile trying to understand it and never came to any conclusions.

I guess it comes from worshiping an angry and vengeful old testament god.

The higher power I trust in loves us and wants us to be happy. Providing bacon and beer to prove it.
