The few that were, either were purged or vacated on their own. No longer an issue for our family. TheBlackAdder Oct 2020 #1
Good advice, some of which is working w/ one of my two friends who are avid trump supporters. One, SWBTATTReg Oct 2020 #2

is on the fence somewhat, agrees w/ me that trump's mouth is a little much, and he's the one initiating the trump conversations w/ me, he already knows how I feel about all things trump and refuse to engage w/ him on such issues. The other friend, I don't know, he throws up data (all false) regarding trump and his so called accomplishments, that democrats are going to go out and shoot and main people, etc. (all sorts of nonsense) and I just look at him, and simply say 'You know that's not true, Bob!', etc.

You are best off simply not bringing it up as an issue. Usually, I found that in their own time, w/o your pressure or anyone else's, the 'light' will come to them...it's has happened to me before when that 'light' has finally shined on them (not all trump related issues but other issues).

I just hope for their sake that the nonsense and ridiculous hyper-attitudes tamp down, people are very sensitive out there, especially recently (and I'm talking about the trump supporters, not independents, not democrats, and not 'original' republicans, just trumpettes).

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
