JUST IN: DC Circuit denies Judicial Watch's motion for en banc rehearing of ruling nixing a court-ordered deposition for Hillary Clinton about her email use. No judge requested a vote. That includes 3 Trump appointees. Earlier:

They bemoan judicial activism & insider corruption because it interferes with THEIR judicial activism and insider corruption.
It's a group of grandstanding, hack lawyers.
The pursuit of the emails is nothing, which is all they ever have. Nothing!

(1,988 posts)Judicial Watch found a judge who allowed a court to force Clinton to deposition. That ruling was predictably overturned by a panel, and JW then asked for the entire panel to hear the case. This is that - they said no. The original order was so ridiculous everyone knew it would be overturned. It would have essentially allowed anyone to demand any former employee sit for a deposition and answer any question the person wanted. The judge's complete legal reasoning was "there are still questions". That's it. It was a joke.
And in case you aren't following - the entire point of this was a last Hail Mary pass in hopes they could get her to say something that contradicted what she said under oath to DOJ and then go running to DOJ with a criminal complaint.
