Democrats too busy attacking Miles Taylor rather than going back through his book to ask him details about the events he saw and revealed months ago are out of their *fucking* minds.

He still thinks the tax cuts were a great idea, thinks the military is now more robust, thinks foreign policy is better, and is happy about all the regulatory rollbacks.
He's a brainless ideologue and I'm not being a purist when I say he's a coward & a punk!
He got what he believed in. PINO is now a used tissue, and he comes forward now. Big deal.

said something *at the time*. Miles Taylor didn't, because, in his own words:

Don’t get me wrong. There are bright spots that the near-ceaseless negative coverage of the administration fails to capture: effective deregulation, historic tax reform, a more robust military and more. But these successes have come despite — not because of — the president’s leadership style, which is impetuous, adversarial, petty and ineffective.

The man shaped the administration's narrative around permanent family separation as "protecting children." He can fucking rot.

Nurse that grudge, though. I'm more concerned with defeating Trump/Trumpism.

Me? I'll deal with these R's and their continued capacity for obstruction or harm AFTER we do the former.

It's one thing to be a passive member of a criminal gang and then quit in disgust and reveal some of what you saw. It's another thing to be an active member who contributed to the criminality and then blew the whistle. I suppose he's in a league with Michael Cohen, Barbara Res, Jack O'Donnell, et al., some of whom have also sold books about it.

It's just that as dramatic reveals go, today's news was a bit underwhelming.

But to be clear I've got nothing against Miles Taylor -- he's been out there in public working against Trump for some time now.

Edited to add: nothing against him except his apparent approval for Trump's "effective deregulation" and "historic tax reform" as noted above, of course. That's weak. But if he wants to help Trump lose, that's fine with me.

No, he's surely not a Democrat, but he most certainly is not helping Trump. In fact, he may become one of many that help us build a case for prosecutions in the future.

or a Special Prosecutor.

And yes, his previous testimony before Congress has helped and his expose' of all things Trump and Trump's absolute disregard for national security HAS helped our cause.

The purity crap always gets Dems in trouble. By golly, that’s the way to get people to change the way they’ve looked at things their whole life and start seeing your viewpoint, attack the sh*t out of them when they do with: “well why didn’t you do it sooner?” or “you still support some things I don’t support so screw you!”0

Purity, bites us in the *ss every time.

For anyone who doesn't know, Miles Taylor has been "out" doing very important interviews and editorials since mid August. He didn't just materialize today and say, "Hello there, I am Anonymous!"

He did exactly what he promised to do in his book. He said he would "make himself known" before the election, and he made himself known more than two months ago. And he brought other people along with him. Just not Kirstjen Nielsen, which some of us were hoping for.
