4. Watching ABC news - they say Zeta will be a tropical storm all the way to Virginia

5. Sustained winds of 40 mph, gusts at 90.

Wind-driven rain for about the last 4 hours. Minor street flooding due to rain.

I lost power about ten times over the last hour. It comes back on right away.

This is a fast moving storm, about 25 mph, so the eye will be over metro New Orleans very shortly.

The rain is supposed to be north of us in about 4 hours.

Just heard on local news that the storm is weakening.

The wind and rain suddenly stopped. And I still have power, though there are lots of reports of outages.

The back side of the storm shouldn’t be so bad.

in the southern part of the storm.

I suspect the wind will pick up again, but the worst of the rain is north of us.

13. It's already 62 degrees in Lake Charles

and headed your way. My suspicion is that oncoming cold air has a lot to do with the eyewall not closing off on radar.

It’s been so hot and humid lately. The high tomorrow in New Orleans is supposed to be 65. Yay!

10. How are the pumping stations doing?

I heard some were off line. Stay safe. All my people are okay but some down in the Barataria are about to give up and move.

11. One of the 99 went out a few days ago and still hasn't been repaired.

All the others are holding up okay.

They’ve got rain but seems if it goes through at all it won’t be too bad.

Crazy wind gusts again, power flickering in and out, but almost no rain.
