(14,624 posts)Wind-driven rain for about the last 4 hours. Minor street flooding due to rain.
I lost power about ten times over the last hour. It comes back on right away.
This is a fast moving storm, about 25 mph, so the eye will be over metro New Orleans very shortly.
The rain is supposed to be north of us in about 4 hours.
Just heard on local news that the storm is weakening.

(14,624 posts)The wind and rain suddenly stopped. And I still have power, though there are lots of reports of outages.
The back side of the storm shouldnt be so bad.

I suspect the wind will pick up again, but the worst of the rain is north of us.
Watch out folks in Mississippi!
