We really need to talk about this Black woman who somehow was not charged in multiple homicides after she bodied an entire Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners during a Tuesday meeting.

At some point, someone can be heard telling Brooks, “ma’am, your time is up,” but she treated whoever that was like a 2020 presidential debate moderator and just kept on dragging the living shit out of Chief Smith telling him, “You have blood on your hands,” and that “while these idiots hold you on a pedestal, God does not honor injustice and murder.”

She ended her Verzus battle against America (she was talking to Kansas City officials, but I promise this read applies across the nation) by coming through with the gospel.

“Anyways, I’ll leave you soulless, profit-driven, avaricious, greedy, godforsaken humans, including anyone who works in this building, with one Bible verse,” she said. “From the Bible, detailing the life of Jesus. Jesus Christ, who was another unarmed Black man murdered by authorities in the book you Hell-bound people claim to love so much. ‘What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit its soul?’”

But "paper-colored skin" and "aging like trash?" Is she by any chance talking about me? Can we really tell racists just by skin color and how early it succumbs to aging?

If I knew she wasn't a Democrat, I'd be more explicit. But how come the influential people she castigates are soulless when white but merely self preserving when black? (Bless their embattled little hearts.)

In a nation where those who identify white are 3/4 of the population, black Americans are 13%, and many of the rest are on the ugly side of their own enmities, the only way, but a magnificent one, to win against the ugliness of racism is to unite good people of all colors to make good trouble.

Will she learn that? Is it in her nature? Or is this it?

As a paper-skinned old white bag "aging like trash" (!), no salute from me while we wait to find out. And I am sure that, having learned how to get media attention, we will be hearing more from her.

I ran into this when I use to post in the African American group here at DU.

That forum is all but closed now. They all left, run off the board. There was a lot of life there, good conversations and some heavy conversations.They were an incredible group of people and I miss them a lot.

I always enjoy reading your posts and listen to your insight.

I am an old white person as well. Posted because I took no offense to her issues. I posted because I see the truth in what she said and know that she was not talking about me.
