6. The trend that I'm getting from these rulings is that SCOTUS (a simple majority of them at least)

believe that these deadlines are up to each state (or the state legislature in one Justice's opinion).

-Wisconsin can decide not to have an extension because it's up to the state
-NC can have a deadline extension because it's up to the state

That's what kinda vibe I'm getting from these cases regarding ballot counting deadlines.

7. Unfortunately, the PA ruling clearly states they will revisit the ruling if vote totals change

The winner by counting mail in ballots that are post marked 11/3, but arrive after nov 3. They will do the same in NC

Many states have long had quite extended deadlines for counting ballots received from service members serving overseas. So the precedent for counting ballots received several days after Election Day is well established.
