Myself, My 18 yr old daughter and her 2 roommates ALL voted today!

Last edited Wed Oct 28, 2020, 09:43 PM - Edit history (1)

We got curbside lunch and sat in the car and ate and filled out our ballots and then put them all in the special dropbox at the grocery store..

Rural Sierra CA, no more actual pollilng places, I think there's an in person "drop off" place on actual Election Day.

But this was fun, we made it a thing and my daughter who is a Poli Sci Major did research and marked up her booklet with notes, it was really cute. We had some discussion about what this or that means, like bond measures and the like.
(She was really the one who made sure her roommates got registered She badgered them until they did it and made sure they mailed the receipt back in time)

It was really sweet ~ I'm so proud of them!

did a lot of research he did on the different issues, and he's sharing that info. We also have the official Democratic voting guide. It's a bonding experience. Then off to the drop box at the library tomorrow. We're in the opposite end of CA than you - in SoSanDiego.

Yeah, we were kinda excited we might have a shot at ousting our horrible senator Tom Mclintock. My daughter was involved during the midterns and primaries too

It's so cool when they look up the issues...and WHO's PAYING for the Yes or No side of things

Stay safe san diego! :hiya:
