Abuse of a young man or woman is beneath contempt. I guess they got a real chuckle out of using excessive force.

They are pigs, you are correct.

Let's hope Democrats reform the police and detention center security!....... .......

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/calgary-police-alex-dunn-assault-trial-video-1.5777524

A disturbing video showing a Calgary police officer slamming a handcuffed woman into the ground face-first has been released by a judge at the constable's trial.

Const. Alex Dunn is on trial on a charge of assault causing bodily harm stemming from an arrest in 2017.

Dalia Kafi, who is Black and was 26 years old at the time, had been arrested on the accusation she breached a court-ordered curfew. She was at the CPS arrest processing unit when she was taken to the ground in what one 30-year officer says was the "worst use of force" he'd ever seen.

Kafi, whose head can be seen bouncing off the concrete floor, needed surgery for a broken nose and stitches in her lip.

On Monday, provincial court Judge Michelle Christopher agreed to release the video exhibit to members of the media, including CBC News.

on the floor, her face is bloodied I think. Her head was slammed on that metal looking wall.
this is a high crime committed by the cops. I hope she wasn't hurt but it looks like she was slammed into that metal looking wall

That is just sheer police brutality! What did she do to warrant that kind of treatment? She was handcuffed. Nothing she could have done or said would have called for such abuse! He could have killed her. I can't believe he is still employed. His ass should have been fired immediately for that. I am so sick of this world sometimes.

This thug cop deserves to be locked up for a long time.

Cops live above the law because the unions protect them.

And they know the cameras are recording but don't care. Imagine how bad it is when there are no cameras.

...she was waiting for her picture to be taken, after the terrible, awful crime of being out after a curfew.

She was wearing a scarf, and I can only guess that the cop wanted it off for the picture, she was reluctant to have him take it off, and he apparently was enraged by that (my take on what I read combined with the video, not necessarily what happened).

He could've just told her to take it off, then reminded her that non-compliance would delay her release even longer.

Smh!

Thanks for the clarification, btw.
