When Biden/Harris win on Tuesday I would love the song ..

Happy Days Are Here Again as used by FDR be played when they appear on stage. I recently saw the series on the Roosevelt's and the song was so appropriate as it would be now. I would love the original be used from the recordings available.

I’d also go for “ding dong the witch is dead.”

When Clinton won after 12 years of Republican mis-rule, I was alone at home. A guy from WashPirg (People's Interest Research Group) had come by earlier raising money, and I gave him a check. My sister had just called from Michigan and I was leaping around in the living room when there was a knock of the door.

It was the WashPirg guy! He'd been trudging home and saw me dancing around and figured it was good news. He came in and I gave him a beer and my sister and I got a good laugh.

But it was also sheer relief. I thought the Reagan Bush years were over. Little did I know what lay dead ahead, but it felt good at the time (and the 90s turned out to be one of the best, maybe THE best, decade of my life).
