Better to keep us safe through what will undoubtedly be a really stressful day. I lurked for the better half of 2016 and officially joined as a star member on 10/31/16. I wanted to be a star member because I was afraid of being locked out on Election Day... I had heard it might be a possibility if site traffic got heavy...turns out, I was on the site when it got hacked and the star didn’t matter. I was new to DU but was already dependent on the site for information and party support...after the hack I was absolutely despondent. I’m so happy to be here with all of you heading into whatever might happen.
