(17,529 posts)known she was a right winger since she is from somewhere in KS. Yes I know there are blue areas in KS, just like there are blue areas in MO where I live. The thing is, KS is still pretty red, just like MO is.

(10,749 posts)but I think fear of dying during a global pandemic is not unreasonable, not is taking precautions to offset that fear of dying.
Wow, what must it be like to be that stupid?

(24,824 posts)you automatically win the Darwin Award, as you cannot pass your DNA on to another generation if you die first.
I mean the first imperative of any living organism is not to die. The ones that didn't get that did not live long enough to leave a fossil record. Neither will Kirstie Alley.

(11,767 posts)I walk around with reasonable concern of catching COVID-19 and I take precautions to minimize my risk. It is sad that Alley is an idiot, and to boot she hangs around with people who are so highly reactive.
Fear is a good thing, it has helped to keep us alive as a species for over a million years. Excessive fear and anxiety are not so great because they lead us to make irrational choices, like joining Scientology or supporting Trump. Sometimes it makes you do truly stupid things like listening to said sources about health precautions rather than medical and scientific experts, or worse, listening to what an idiot like Kirstie Alley has to say on the topic.

(2,657 posts)not wear a mask, and risk getting really sick and dying or getting lifelong complications. Yeah, that sounds so much better.

(1,580 posts)I know its scary Kirstie to turn on CNN from FAUX news and actually find out that instead of nobody dying actually 220,000 people have died. Actually hearing the truth rather than faux lies that instead of being nothing that there is a death toll. And maybe you actually thought that the bleach actually cured Covid and it was scary to find out it doesn't. Its scary to face up to the truth like you had to face up to being a bad dancer on Dancing with the Stars. But buck up you can do it.

Sorry Kirsty, your false connect-the-dots just doesn't work.
But just to reverse that thought, does watching Fox News make you unafraid of dying? Sounds counter productive in terms of self preservation and personal survival.
