No. I don't have any data or links or anything to support my post title. It's just my very non-scientific hunch. If you count the votes of those that have already voted, Biden may have already won. Trump needs a massive turnout and win a large percentage of that turnout to over take Biden's lead.
Like I said, I have no evidence to support this, except the Biden campaign, and other Democrats, are unusually quiet. I've heard little to no stories about campign in-fighting. No criticism of campaign strategies by other Democrats. No complaints from Democratic candidates. This signals to me a calm confidence that I've never seen before.

(32,750 posts)Biden leading by 8-9 pts average, with 4% undecided and MOE of 3%, trump would have to have all the undecideds vote for him, and the MOE tilted completely in his favor and he still would win

(101,294 posts)The OP's "If you count the votes of those that have already voted, Biden may have already won" is obviously wrong. If no one voted Democratic from now on, we'd lose most states (maybe win Hawaii, since they've already voted more than in 2016? States that have nearly all mail voting, like Oregon?)
You are talking about the opinion poll answers which include the intention to vote, not just what people have already done.
A pointless thread, that just needs correcting with a bit of common sense. Everyone still needs to see their intention to vote Democratic to completion. This is not a walk in the park.

(34,055 posts)This is the kind of smug complacency that let some Democrats feel ok skipping voting, or voting for 3rd party candidates to send a message to "president" Clinton.
