Amazing. Conservatives, who demand voter ID, are fighting for the right not to wear masks when they vote.

If I knew my side largely didn't believe in wearing masks and thought the other side would prefer to avoid maskless crowds, then fighting to vote without masks might seem to me like a great way to intimidate their side into not showing up at the polls

Incidentally, it's the same rule they are adopting as to what you are wearing.
That said - In the 3 hours I stood in line today (mostly outdoors), I only saw 3 unmasked voters. I don't know if they put them on when they went inside or not.
I had been really annoyed that they were making this exception, but since the general thinking is that if 95% of us are wearing masks it's good enough, in practice - in my county - it worked out well.
