Mysterious Ways...Has Covid-19 saved the USA from Fascism?

I gave it away in the title but follow me on this. For every action there is an equal & opposite reaction. Every Ying has a Yang and there is no light without darkness.

The longer you live the more likely you will witness these events fold out and for good or ill the consequences from actions unexpected.

It is not a fair trade or justice. I am just making an observation. If the Covid-19 crisis had been handled in a competent manner the Potus would have earned praise & almost certainly another term. Trump is anything but competent.

With all the cheating & lies they would have probably railroaded him through Fascism and all.

----

I also am hoping for a sigh of relief soon. And I believe we will just scrape by with our Democracy intact albeit tattered. It is just a eye opener that so many of my fellow Americans are mentally ill with little chance of recovery. And Repukes did this on purpose and methodically we must salt the earth behind them.

The virus is our destroyer, but also may ultimately be our liberator. That’s not how anyone would want it to go down. It should not take the deaths of 230,000 to rid ourselves of this cretin. But here we are.

Most US POTUS are re-elected absent an outside event or economic conditions. I think that Joe could have been competitive but I worry that trump could be leading right now but for the virus and his incompetence

you are right that as you get older & "witness these events" the more plausable this dynamic seems.

back, thinking if I had lost a loved one I would see it as a life left on the battlefield in the fight for our country.

Like I said, twisted, but trying to bring some purpose to senseless tragedy.

Not until Trump is out of office and the Turtle is no longer Senate Majority leader.
