Trump and AF-1. Who is paying.

By law, the Trump Campaign must cover the cost of Campaign events. i can almost guarantee the taxpayers are paying for these MAGAt rallies. Now he wants to rally beyond the election...

"Top surrogates for the Trump campaign have been told to keep their Novembers clear for potential campaign events. And Trump campaign advisers said not to rule out the possibility Trump continues his rallies even as election officials continue to count ballots after the Nov. 3 election, according to a campaign surrogate and two Trump advisers."

If af-1 is used for campaign vents, the campaign is expected to reimburse the gov't for the equivalent of business class commercial seats for campaign staff and any invited guests.

But if the event s coincident with "official" business, no comp is due.

Of course, the trump campaign isn't paying a cent and never will. Sue them.

He’ll get Secret Service protection for the rest of his miserable existence. Every golf outing will cost us a bundle.
