I've seen/heard some remarks lately about how people are sick of 45 taking over everyone's thoughts and conversations so completely for so long, and how we're all just longing to get back to normal without him, or the thought of him. I'll know we're back to normal when TRMS isn't so deluged by 45's ten-times-daily shitdumps that Rachel can start doing these segments again !

Even before the pandemic struck us down, he and his cult of misery brought a dark cloud over our lives. Trump is the loveless depressing angry person who takes up all the oxygen.

4. I get your point about her not showing those nice

segments but she rarely covers the Con's going on. Rachel has been totally preoccupied with Covid because she knew this pandemic (and how the Killa Con tried to pretend it wasn't happening) it would be the real issue next week

... the whole reason the coverage of COVID is so dominant is that THIS MALADMINISTRATION IS DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT !! With a responsible, competent adult in the OO we would never have reached this point. I hope -- really hope -- that one of the first things Biden does is a national lockdown for 2-3 weeks. That wouldn't get rid of COVID, but it would greatly ease the death and suffering that is wracking this country. Then the fight could continue as a much less disruptive, low-level maintenance effort. Flareups would occur, contact tracing would track down the carriers, and we would start to look more like Canada. And then maybe we could enjoy some lighthearted diversions again, even if we couldn't indulge in social mingling as much until a cure or vaccine is found.

And then Rachel won't be moved to tears or outrage so much, and we can enjoy her lighter side again.
