(19,382 posts)no election has been more then around 2 percent in decades regardless of party winning. This would be amazing!!!!!

(113,201 posts)Encouraging, though it might be. Too volatile.

(23,826 posts)Throw out a couple right wing polls and Biden +2 to plus 5 has been really consistent.

(10,345 posts)My personal experience has been encouraging though - lots of folks down here (South FL) that are sick of trump's Covid response are voting for Joe this election while still keeping their repub party affiliation. When we look at early voting/mail in ballot numbers by registered repubs, we don't really know who they voted for - could be Joe.

(5,372 posts)it is true and people will vote. I just remember Andrew G. being up in most polls and they ended up with Trumps mini me. Good thing here is that so many people have already voted.

(761 posts)Not a poll of Florida.
hlthe2b
(113,201 posts)and the Fox poll is one of the two.
MontanaFarmer
(761 posts)The one above it does. The fox poll isn't labeled. Click the link to the poll, isn't it national?
hlthe2b
(113,201 posts)In the second link scroll down the President: General Election down to FL. Atlas and Fox results are listed; continue to the next line and you see a single VA-specific poll for Roanoke College.

(9,238 posts)I think this is a national poll.
MontanaFarmer
(761 posts)It clearly says national. It is not a poll of florida. It's right underneath atlas in the list, and atlas polled florida, but the fox poll does not have a state denoted. If you click on "fox News" it takes you to the report on the poll, which says "national sample."

(72 posts)this is promising news. We need to win Florida. I mean, I understand that the state is not needed as a win to get Joe Biden elected, but for me personally - WE NEED TO WIN FLORIDA. Oh gosh. May it happen. Hoping to kick out this butt of a joke governor next. Cases are on the rise here but hey, let's talk about bringing students back to the classroom at 100% and throw out mask mandates too! Such a jerk and a fool.

(17,757 posts)do you think that anyone is capable of predicting what Florida will do?
kansasobama
(1,750 posts)Not to mention, it is impossible. To be frank, if Miami Dade sits on their butts, despite the polls it is lost cause.
People have to vote to win.
MontanaFarmer
(761 posts)upthread. It was somewhat confusing in the 538 list, as it was slotted right under the atlas poll, but definitely a national poll.
honest.abe
(9,238 posts)It looks like 538 mislabeled it on their website as Florida.
From the poll:
registered voters (RV).
MontanaFarmer
(761 posts)It's right under the atlas poll of florida, but that list just puts them in the order they were released.
