Here's some voter fraud for you. Every adult gets one vote. Husbands don't get two.

(150,887 posts)I don't know many wives who think it's OK for their husband to tell them how to vote. Nope.

(38,393 posts)With most witness requirements now lifted, they can fill it out in the bathroom, seal it and put it in the mail later.

Thank you, Brave @jesse_sumpter! Not every husband has a strong enough vagina to tell his submissive handmaiden how to vote. Listen to Jesse's vagina!

What a load of shit. It's hard for me to believe that some women go along with crap like this.

(17,802 posts)Abusive husbands control EVERYTHING. Mail, phones, money, cars, friends, - everything.
It's not worth the ensuing drunken beat down to many. And they don't know how to get out.
Just saying.

(2,113 posts)They are part of the election day equalization voting bloc the Repubs are counting on. Not all, of course, but Dems are overwhelming the ones voting by mail-in. (Not that all abusive men are Repubs; but that authoritarian personality does seem to be part and parcel of the current day Repub mindset, IMO.)

(17,802 posts)She doesn't particularly like him. It's a business relationship. And he can deport her parents.
But I have to believe she just stuck a fork in his hand.
Just sayin.....

(17,335 posts)I was surprised at the number of women, usually older, who asked their husbands who they should vote for. I didn't think that happened any longer, but I guess women of a certain generation just were raised that way.

(11,675 posts)My mother was one of those. Dad wasn't nefarious, but mother had virtually no interest on her own. Once Dad passed, mother never voted again.

(4,739 posts)She was a very nice lady. She had a special needs daughter, and took good care of her. My partner tried to convince her otherwise, but she just did as ordered. Sadly, this woman was ordered by Paul of New Testament fame to be a good little wifey and do as hubby orders. Is it even necessary that I say that hubby was a Republican?
