anecdotal healthcare workers perspective I heard 4 days ago

I have several good friends who are doctors and nurses and of the 5, 4 are lifelong republicans who have NEVER voted for a democrat for any elected office. Of the 4, I had a brief discussion with 3 of the woman (neighbors) about Covid and trump and my god, like I opened a fire hydrant of hate on trump. One gal went on for 5 minutes that she will never vote for any republican and the other 2 said she would like to see trump locked up and the key thrown away. The 4 and 5th drive dowb my street and started giving me the thumbs up with all Biden signs in my front yard

Its anecdotal but none the less, surprised the crap out of me. How may thousands of these types are turning on the GOP all over the country?

I'm told that the solidly red area where I now live had many more Trump signs four years ago than now. I'm not seeing a lot of them, and there are quite a few Biden signs.

chaos and incompetence are exhausting all the way around. People who work in medicine are acutely aware of the toll trump's catastrophic handling of the pandemic has taken in human lives.
even for people who think it's hunky dory that cruelty, crimes against humanity, non stop lies, and incessant corruption are also hallmarks of this administration, there is a stop point.

the true Hatred of Trump among here work mates and Fellow Nurses and Doctors is immense. She has lost two or her Care Team to Covid, and Memorials as well as Burials have been put on hold because everyone is on extra hours as well as the danger of some one else becoming infected attending these memorials and burials.

And as of Thursday night,Denver is Surging big time.

south central Michigan. The Republican Butt Party. I base that on phone banking for 17 weeks this cycle. Increasingly after I introduce myself people tell me I am a Republican Butt. They then start listing their grievances with Trump. I even had one call me back because his phone went dead and didn't want me to think he hung up on me. One guy talked for 14 minutes, telling me why. At the end I said well have I convinced you? He chuckled and said I guess I convinced myself.

Not in ERs or ICUs but in other specialties.

But going after fellow doctors and nurses in such a personal and vile way might turn them against him. Maybe. They were with him till then, though.

by bumping the diagnosis numbers - as Trump did - nurses and doctors

when they are in fact, on the front lines, risking their lives to save others and getting their hearts wrenched as they fail to save so many, I can see how they would be more than pissed off.
