But there ain't no fucking way I'm allowing little disease vectors at my door no matter how cute.

Fuck that.

Happy Halloween to you and yours!

I'll watch some horror flicks. Whatever strikes my fancy.

I used to give away $100 worth of candy every Halloween. Lots of kids, teens too, didn't mind, it was fun. But now 1/2 hour could go by between kids jumping out of cars, few people have porch lights on any more. Not criticizing parents driving their kids, safer, though this is a safe neighborhood. Nevertheless, not as exciting. Droves of kids more fun.

But now not safe for us.

Watching Netflix, or catch up on The Boys, or watch my DVR'd Supernatural or Fear TWD.

Shoulda bought some candy for myself.

Stupidly, on a Saturday, it's from 5-8. Don't know why they didn't do 2-5, given no school today.
We're putting mini-packages (little bag of chips & a couple mini candy bars) on the porch.
I'll monitor by setting up my WiFi TV so I can look out the window.
When the bags I have out there run low, I'll restock.
At 7, lights are going off.

and a nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon at the ready. I live in a 55+ community, so no little tricksters. My daughter who lives up the hill has the right idea: block off the driveway with folding camping tables on which will be bowls of candy for the kids to help themselves. She and her family will invite only 1 close family to celebrate with them. They will put the fire pit and some lawn chairs out on the driveway and use her projector to show movies like "Halloween" and "Ghost Busters" on the closed garage door. What fun!

edited because I cannot spel

Have LED flashlights on my dragons and on the tree faces and cat skeleton. I will lower a witch with a basket of candy from my second floor balcony.

Here's the witch. Don't know if it will scare the treaters but my dog won't get near it!
