1. A true Christian is willing to sacrifice their Christianity for their beliefs

A mediocre Christian turns the other cheek when offended, tries to help the poor, doesn't pay attention to politics, and prays quietly in a secluded place rather than in front of others. The nobody Christians. The meek ones.

The really, really good Christians want to do those things! Oh, how they want to! But God has chosen them to make the ultimate sacrifice in the name of Christianity. He wants them to sacrifice their souls. He wants them to force themselves into opposition to the Christianity they love. To fight against the only thing they really believe in. To not be tempted by the desire to know what it's like to be on the side of good.

At least they think it's God who chose them and told them to do those things. He didn't really say who he was when he talked to them in that dream.
