CNN: Trump's job losses are the worst of any American president on record

Are we better off then we were four years ago?

https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/04/economy/august-jobs-report-trump-jobs-record/index.html

New York (CNN Business)President Donald Trump is heading into the general election with the worst jobs numbers of any president, based on records that go back to World War II.

That's not going to change in the two months between now and Election Day, no matter how the economy does.

The US economy is down 4.7 million jobs since January 2017 when Trump took office, according to the Labor Department.

The August jobs report released Friday showed employers added back about 1.4 million jobs, bringing the unemployment rate to 8.4%. That is still well short of what would be needed to give Trump a positive jobs record by November 3.

Biden is inheriting a real mess, just like he and Obama did in 2008. GOP Presidents have a habit of destroying the economy.

growth ever in the history of the nation. Why doesn't anyone ever stop him or contradict him on the spot when he spouts this bullshit? I am sure there are plenty of low-information voters out there who take him at his word, even if they are unemployed or under-employed themselves.

etc. The jobs that were there weren't not mostly high-paying jobs or manufacturing jobs that made appliances, furniture, linens etc. like we used to do. China still whips our butts when it comes to making shit that low and middle income workers here want. We just don't make the stuff. Ask Trump where his MAGA hats were made.

Pay attention when Trump claims the economy is going down the drain if he is not reelected.

He is telling us what condition he is going to leave the country in.
