'New Braunfels Trump Train' is the group that attacked the Biden-Harris busLast edited Sun Nov 1, 2020, 11:38 AM - Edit history (4) https://mycanyonlake.com/democrats-cancel-rallies-after-trump-train-swarms-biden-bus-sparking-safety-fears/ Democrats Cancel Rallies after Trump Train Swarms Biden Bus, Sparking Safety Fears Stephanie Johnson October 31, 2020 The bus was leaving a campaign event in San Antonio as part of a “Battle for the Soul of the Nation” tour staged by Democrats as U.S. Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris campaigned in other parts of the state. Aboard the bus were Wendy Davis, the Democrat who is running against incumbent Republican Chip Roy for the 21st Congressional District; Democratic Congressman Rep. Lloyd Doggett, who represents District 35; and Roland Gutierrez, a candidate for Texas senate District 19. Members of the Trump Train also allegedly damaged a white SUV and cursed at Biden supporters. Randi Ceh, wife of Trump Train NB Founder Steve Ceh, posted a video on her Facebook page showing trucks and cars surround the bus as it drove through New Braunfels. New Braunfels Trump Train also posted this video on YouTube. It is unclear when or where members of the New Braunfels Trump Train joined the convoy, but the video appears to have been taken around the Solms Road Exit 183 as the Biden Bus headed north. https://mycanyonlake.com/new-braunfels-city-manager-trump-train-broke-no-laws-when-it-swarmed-biden-bus/ New Braunfels City Manager: Trump Train Broke No Laws When It Swarmed Biden Bus Stephanie Johnson October 31, 2020 New Braunfels City Manager Robert Camareno said the New Braunfels Trump Train did not break any laws when at least a dozen of its members pulled onto I-35 around Solms Road on Friday and surrounded a Biden Bus carrying several prominent Texas Democratic candidates to campaign rallies in Central Texas. Biden campaign organizers were so shaken by the swarm of cars swerving around the bus, and by reports that members of the Trump Train were armed, they canceled a series of campaign rallies planned for Friday as part of a “Battle for the Soul of the Nation.” New Braunfels dismissed similar concerns in the past, after residents complained that the Trump Train caravan of hundreds of flag-festooned trucks and cars was clogging city streets and that its members were harassing people of color and anyone with a Harris/Biden sign in their front yards. In early September, Bishop Michael Franklin, president of the New Braunfels MLK Association, asked the city for support after a member of the 400-vehicle Trump Train dragged a Black Lives Matter flag underneath his truck during a Sept. 3 procession. New Braunfels Trump Train started out small over the summer but quickly grew under the command of Steve Ceh, a boiler mechanic at Brandt Companies who moved to the New Braunfels area from Nevada three years ago. The Trump Train is a family affair for the Cehs, who also conduct weekly prayer vigils in New Braunfels’ Landa Park. Wife Randi runs the group’s closed Facebook page, which in early September had 3,400 followers. Their five children range in age from 17 to 26 and also support the Trump Train through Instagram and YouTube. The Trump Train “rolls” through the City of New Braunfels every Thursday night with as many as 650 vehicles and 1,100 people in attendance, according to the group’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. There are several routes, one of which winds right in front of Gruene Hall, a world-famous music mecca. The Trump Train attracted controversy again in October after 15 of its members charged into an antique store in historic Gruene, boasting on Facebook that they roamed around the store maskless, scaring clerks into calling the police. https://mycanyonlake.com/trump-train-founder-storms-into-gruene-business-with-14-others-to-protest-mask-laws/ Trump Train Founder Storms into Gruene Business with 14 Others to Protest Mask Laws Stephanie Johnson October 24, 2020 Trump Train NB founder Steve Ceh and 14 other unmasked protesters stormed into Gruene Antique Company on Friday in defiance of Gov. Greg Abbott’s July 2 face-covering executive order. Ceh, a founding member of the local Trump train who also leads prayer vigils at Landa Park, said cashiers “lost ther minds.” He said when police arrived, they were told they could be arrested for criminal trespass and left — “for now.” In a 7:53 p.m. Friday post on MeWe, which bills itself as the ‘anti-Facebook’ social network, Ceh announced that he and supporters had left Gruene 30 minutes earlier. ![]() https://www.expressnews.com/news/local/article/Trump-Train-is-a-regular-party-in-New-Braunfels-15595815.php Trump Train is a regular party in New Braunfels, but some are feeling the hangover Sig Christenson and Bruce Selcraig Sep. 25, 2020 Updated: Sep. 25, 2020 4:58 p.m. ![]() ![]() NEW BRAUNFELS — The scene at the Rockin’ R tube rental parking lot across the Guadalupe River from the Gruene historic district had the feel of a tailgate party before a big game Thursday evening — a festive, flag-waving atmosphere. The similarities stopped with the Pledge of Allegiance and the national anthem. This was no sporting event. This was politics, conveyed by banners bearing President Donald Trump’s name and image, a prayer over the public address system and a fiery speech that sketched the stakes of the upcoming election in stark terms. The man giving the speech was organizer Steve Ceh, who later estimated that around 1,000 people had shown up. They milled around booths where caps and other items were for sale, a generally middle-aged to older crowd, mostly white. Very few wore masks. Officers in two police cruisers watched the event. And then the New Braunfels Trump Train headed out, a wheeled display of partisan enthusiasm that again had assembled hundreds of vehicles, most of them pickups. Now in its third month, the weekly parade is beloved by most people in this Republican-dominated city and welcomed on its occasional forays out of town, participants say. But other New Braunfelsers have become irritated by the noise, traffic holdups and the parade’s ugly edge — the racist taunting of Black and Hispanic residents encountered along the way. And the resulting fear, anger and pushback has some worried that America’s bitter political divide is damaging the town’s self-image as a friendly, prosperous destination for those seeking the good life. https://www.ktsa.com/truck-in-new-braunfels-trump-train-drags-black-lives-matter-flag/ Truck in New Braunfels Trump Train drags Black Lives Matter flag Elizabeth Ruiz Sep 9, 2020 @ 10:34am ![]() SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) -The Trump Train is gaining steam in New Braunfels, but a recent image circulating on social media has created a controversy. It shows a truck dragging a Black Lives Matter flag under the pickup. The image is a screen grab taken from a Sept. 3 Trump Train video that has since been removed from YouTube. A photo posted on Ruona Nails’ Facebook page shows a man standing behind the truck wearing a black “Donald Trump Matters” t-shirt. The post reads,”We are ready!! Taking them all off the truck and putting them on the boat. The BLM and Antifa (flags) are on there to drag on the ground and upside down…” The man is posing with two young children, one of them holding a Trump sign. Some of the people commenting on Facebook say dragging the Black Lives Matter flag is a reminder of the murder of James Byrd Jr., an African-American, who was dragged by three white supremacists for three miles behind a pickup truck in 1998 in Jasper, Texas. Bishop Michael Franklin, president of the New Braunfels Martin Luther King Association wants the city to place some restrictions on the Trump Train. In a Facebook post, Franklin said “acts of racism” by some of the participants “threaten the very fiber of our community’s peace and safety.” He urged members of the Martin Luther King Association to “remain decent and orderly,” and he reminded them of the words of Dr. King: “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” https://spectrumlocalnews.com/tx/san-antonio/news/2020/07/31/black-physician-writes-response-to-racist-op-ed Black Physician Writes Response to Racist Op-Ed By Alex Stockwell | New Braunfels PUBLISHED 5:37 AM CT Aug. 01, 2020 NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — A racist op-ed was published in the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung newspaper last week sparked outrage among many in the New Braunfels community. Published with a headline titled “Do Black Lives Matter to Blacks,” the column, written by a white man from Canyon Lake, used derogatory language and phrases to question the validity of the Black Lives Matter movement. One particularly offensive statement penned by the author says, “I can't buy into the BLM legitimacy until there are reports of marches and protests at the cribs and neighborhoods of the Black, gun-wielding drug dealers and thugs who are killing the Black children.” He continues his rant using phrases like "Black miscreants" while adding “I'm just not convinced how concerned I should be about Black lives.” https://www.linkedin.com/in/steve-ceh-5b519962/ Steve Ceh Boiler Mechanic at Brandt Companies San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area 500+ connections About https://twitter.com/randiceh716 MagaMom716 @RandiCeh716 #MagaMom #Trump2020 #NewBraunfelsTrumpTrain New Braunfels, TX Joined July 2013 Link to tweet ![]()

3. I recently moved from that solid red county.
Someone besides the City Manager needs to decide if laws were broken. That behavior was completely unacceptable and people need to be held accountable.
I have to admit that I was surprised by the comments on the first link. I thought for sure it would be filled with people supporting that behavior. I guess the locals haven't seen it. |

4. I watched them break laws. You can't tailgate
and drive recklessly, especially in order to harass other vehicles and possibly make them crash. They endangered the public. If there are no repercussions, we're fucked.

Are you certain that you can say the same about the rest of them?

16. So let me get this straight:
Vehicles that are driving erratically along a highway; with obstructing views; ramming other vehicles; allegedly carrying weapons; in an effort to harass a political candidate(s) broke no laws?
There are a litany of violations *and* crimes committed here! It’s clear that the city manager has deeply rooted sympathies with these terrorists; and someone outside of political affiliations needs to investigate this terror plot and assign appropriate charges. This “new normal” by the ‘stand by’s...’ needs to be shut the fuck down! |
