I am practicing self-care to get through the next few days

4 years ago, the stress was overwhelming and when Trump ended up with the White House, it was a very sad day for me.

As I prepare for this week, I realize that I'm reading too much news, rereading the same stories and the same polls over and over.

I'm going to stop reading news. (Who am I kidding? I'm a news junkie, so for me, stopping reading means spending 5 minutes or less at CNN..)

I've already sent as much money as I can to Harrison and Biden and the DNC. So I won't be making any more contributions.

I'm going to exercise, eat right, sleep well, work on my house and yard, and take care of myself. The nervousness that this campaign season has brought about in me is undeniable. And I'm going to get on top of it.

I hope everyone does what it takes to have maximum emotional strength today, tomorrow, Tuesday, and beyond. Stay healthy everyone!

Though, I think I am more prepared this year. First of all, I think Biden is going to win easy. But I am more prepared emotionally than 4 years ago if Trump wins again. It was a total shock to me that people can support such a person. It's no longer a shock and I know these people exist. It will sadden me that their numbers are bigger than I thought and I have some soul searching to do as to where I want to live the rest of my live. But I won't be as shocked as I was in 2016. I just couldn't believe such a clown can become president.

fraud, and cheating. This, I believe, is what's keeping us all awake at night. This, I believe, is what we all hope and pray we have some protection against.

If his installation into the White House occurs again, I will be be even more "...shocked as I was in 2016." because I am wiser this time, and will absolutely know it will be due to fraud.

10. The shock I had in 2016 was very emotional.

It's related to my view on the American public that is, at the least, blind to the corrupt Trump and what a clown he is. I woke up to the fact that there is a sizable amount of people are just not that good.

In 2020, I will be shocked to the extend republicans would use tricks to win, like throwing out ballots at specific districts and using supreme court to hand the win to Trump. But it's no longer an emotional shock to the value of people around me. I already know there is a sizable of them that thinks very different from me.

it really happened. And there are many of us who still doubt the legitimacy of the 2016 "election" & I'm one of them. Yes, I do agree that so many Americans were blind to the corruption of Trump. Hell, during Thanksgiving 2016, my drunk niece was gloating & obnoxious about Trump's "win", when most of the family were still in shock & disbelief. Talk about a "last time event" - never going there again.

But this time it's different. Everyone know trump's schtick, more people than ever are voting. If he "wins" this time, something is definitely wrong, AND that I believe is what's got most people worried. What the hell do we do then? Meanwhile, I voted, my family voted, I've donated & donated again, I've helped people get engaged. I'm trying to be at peace. I'm cutting back on news, polls, etc. I've got my garden and favorite music. I've discovered opera, and am enjoying the intricacies of the art. And the stories behind the artists.

Peace to you, peace to me, and peace to all of us here during these next few days. When trump's having to pay attendees, I seriously doubt he has that sizable of a fan base.

I am also trying to do better with self care too, although I did have some Halloween candy today and yesterday. I'm getting ready to go on the treadmill in a few minutes.
