DU, every single day, has saved my sanity, heart and spirit through the last four horrible, terrible, no good, very bad, downright harmful years. 
I want to thank every single one of you from the bottom of my heart. 
I'm feeling so grateful here and just wanted you to know.

had a lot on our plate this year! The pandemic, unrest, elections, etc. What a year it has been! Feel like you...in that DU is a type of therapy especially those of us finding ourselves isolated. A very happy birthday to you ancianita!
I've found myself among those isolated at different times and circumstances, and yours and DU's spirit always bring me back to knowing we're not alone on the road we travel.
I'm right there with you on how valuable and insightful our DU truly is.
I know it's saved my sanity many times. And will continue to do so!
Into the home stretch and beyond, we need to feel each other's support and presence, and DU is our place for that.
This month is one of traditional thanksgiving, and so moving ahead, I hope we can keep that spirit.

I ran once and that was enough, heh heh... After nine years here, I decided to just speak my feelings to DU on what otherwise would have been a difficult birthday. I decided that heart work and expressing gratitude could change the difficult personal and political days ahead.
