Joe Biden planning Cleveland area visit on Monday
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Democratic former Vice President Joe Biden will be making an appearance in the Cleveland area on Monday in what is potentially his closing message to Ohio voters.
Per Biden’s Ohio campaign, the former Vice President will make his first visit to Northeast Ohio since embarking on a train tour through Ohio and Pennsylvania that started in Cleveland the day after the first presidential debate. Sen. Kamala Harris, Biden’s running mate, was in Cleveland on Oct. 24, a sign the campaign is looking to boost turnout in heavily Democratic Cuyahoga County in a bid to flip the state.
It’s also another clue into how both Biden and Republican President Donald Trump feel about the state in the final days. The same day Harris was in Cleveland, Trump held a campaign rally in Circleville.
