I'm watching CBS movie 'Star Trek Beyond' trying to make up my mind about it. Special effects are way beyond other Star Treks.
Anyone else watching? Helps divert attention.

It just does not feel right to me. The Klingon parts were so drawn out! I was really disappointed

The reboot just didn't do anything for me. They're not bad movies, per se, just unnecessary to this Star Trek fan.

Just as uber-stans diss Star Wars or Harry Potter or whatever
The on-screen chemistry of the characters really vibes the original series, to me.
Theyre just fun movies
Enjoy

This one has the original characters (not actors) and is relying too much on special effects.
It could be my age.
I'll watch it on demand so I can pause it.
